This year's speaker

Susannah McFarlane

Celebrated author and publisher

Susannah McFarlene

Successful Australian children’s author, Susannah McFarlane, is this year’s speaker at the Melbourne Prayer Breakfast.

Susannah is the creator and writer of the awarding-winning EJ12 Girl Hero series, the EJ Spy School series, Boy vs Beast, Go Girl! And Zac Power. and the author of the Little Mates series of alphabet books for under fives. Her books have sold over half a million copies in Australia alone.

An atheist for half a century, Susannah came to faith just six years ago and has found immense comfort in God’s promise that “he will never leave you nor forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6), words that take on a whole new meaning when viewed from the eyes of a person who was given up for adoption at birth.

Susannah is a passionate and energetic storyteller who will captivate you with her story and her wonder and enthusiasm for God.
